Romo was the musical director and first bandoneon in the “Tango Argentino” and “Tango Pasión” companies, performed the opera “María de Buenos Aires” in Poland and was part of the opera “Orestes, Last Tango,” touring in the Netherlands and Belgium.

He performed with renowned tango singers, including Roberto Goyeneche, Alberto Castillo, Alberto Morán, Rubén Juárez, Raúl Lavié, María Graña, and Elena Roger, among others. He has also collaborated with Julio Iglesias, Luis Miguel, Laura Pausini, Ricardo Montaner, Marco Antonio Solís, La India, Diego El Cigala, and Buika.
